The age difference between Ham So-won and Jin-hwa is 18 years. Ham So-won was born in 1976 and is 44 years old this year. Jin-hwa was born in 1994 and is 26 years old. The couple married last year.

Ham So-won recently appeared on MBC Radio Star and said, "There were many articles about this in Korea, and the same happened in China. A friend living in Japan told me that people in Japan were also surprised that I married someone 18 years younger. Articles also came out about how I naturally became pregnant and gave birth at an older age. I didn't expect to become an international topic like this."

Meanwhile, Ham So-won debuted in the entertainment industry after placing in the Miss Gyeonggi pageant in 1997.
