Building Collapse Near Sinsa Station Damages Multiple Vehicles; Scene Described as 'Chaos'

[News S = Reporter Kim A-hyun] The scene has been revealed following the collapse of an outer wall of a building under demolition near Sinsa Station in Seoul.
According to fire authorities on the 4th, a building in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul collapsed that afternoon. Three vehicles in the vicinity were crushed and damaged in the accident, and four people inside the buried vehicles were injured.
The building in question was a five-story structure with one basement level and was in the process of being demolished.
In released photos of the scene, the building is completely collapsed with structural elements fallen onto the roadway, and all the reinforcing steel bars supporting it are bent.
Police and fire authorities are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
