New Face Yi Jun-hee Takes Office as 13th Fire Chief of Yangpyeong Fire Station
[News S=Eom In-yong Reporter] On the 1st, Yi Jun-hee, the newly appointed 13th Fire Chief of Yangpyeong Fire Station, took office.
Chief Yi bypassed the inauguration ceremony on the 1st and began his first official duties by paying respects at the Memorial Tower in Galsan Park within Yangpyeong before meeting with department heads, team leaders and other staff, and receiving reports on major issues by department at Yangpyeong Fire Station.
Chief Yi entered the fire service in March 2007, and has served through various positions including the Central 119 Rescue Headquarters Building Construction Team, the National Fire Agency Information and Communication Team Leader, Gyeonggi Province Fire and Disaster Management Headquarters Safety Culture Team Leader, Disaster Comprehensive Command Center Team Leader, Fire Service Law Team Leader, Fire Prevention Team Leader, and Prevention Section Chief of the North Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Management Headquarters before taking office as the 13th Fire Chief of Yangpyeong Fire Station.
Based on diverse practical experience, Chief Yi has earned the trust and respect of his staff as a commanding officer who combines clean administrative capabilities as well as on-site command abilities.
Chief Yi Jun-hee stated, "Based on fundamentals and principles, I will create a workplace culture of mutual respect through communication and consideration among staff, and will do my best with all employees to prevent fires and disasters and respond to emergencies for the safety of Yangpyeong County residents."
