Pyeongtaek Port Selects "Carbon-Neutral Hydrogen Port Development" and 17 Other Stories as Top 10 News of 2025
[News S = Kim Jong-shik, Senior Correspondent] The Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port Development Council recently held a '2025 Pyeongtaek Port Top 10 News Selection Review Meeting' and selected 18 stories including the development of a carbon-neutral hydrogen port at Pyeongtaek Port and the completion of the hinterland area. Following public opinion surveys, it plans to announce the final selections on the 18th.
At the review meeting held on the 5th in the conference room of Pyeongtaek Citizen Newspaper, 12 representatives from Pyeongtaek City Hall, the Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port Development Council, Pyeongtaek University, the Pyeongtaek Port Research Association, Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority, the Pyeongtaek Port Transport Workers' Union, Pyeongtaek Citizen Newspaper, and the Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port Newsletter selected 18 stories from 30 pieces of Pyeongtaek Port news from 2025 in categories including policy, cargo volume, transportation networks, hinterland areas, and culture.
Through citizen opinion survey results, the selections will be narrowed down to a final 10 and announced at the Pyeongtaek-Dangjin Port Development Council 2025 year-end meeting to be held on the 18th at the 3rd floor of the Pyeongtaek Public Interest Support Center.
