Kim Sang-soo Takes Office as 25th Vice Mayor of Namyangju City

[News S=Reporter Um In-yong] Namyangju City held the certificate of appointment presentation ceremony and inaugural ceremony for the 25th Vice Mayor Kim Sang-soo on the 5th.

In his inaugural address, Vice Mayor Kim stated, "I will swiftly understand the tasks and make my utmost efforts to ensure that the projects Namyangju is pursuing with attention lead to tangible results that citizens can directly feel."

Going forward, Vice Mayor Kim plans to accelerate key projects the city is prioritizing, including △laying the foundation for a future-oriented self-sufficient city △balanced development across regions △expansion of transportation, culture, and economic infrastructure.

Mayor Ju Gwang-deok presented the certificate of appointment and emphasized, "Vice Mayor Kim Sang-soo's accumulated expertise and administrative experience will serve as a pivotal force in Namyangju City's leap toward becoming a 'future-oriented self-sufficient city that citizens can feel.' I hope he will lead communication and collaboration within the public service to establish field-centered and sincere communication-focused administration."

Vice Mayor Kim has accumulated rich experience in key sectors of provincial administration, serving as Director of Gyeonggi Province Transportation, Culture, Sports and Tourism Director, Self-Governance Administration Director, and Balanced Development Planning Director, among other positions. In particular, during his tenure as Transportation Director, he successfully promoted the adoption of 'The Gyeonggi Pass,' an integrated public transportation pass, contributing to improved transportation welfare.
