Jingeon-eup Community Welfare Council in Namyangju Delivers 'Nutrient-Rich Wellness Care Packages' to Vulnerable Groups During Seasonal Transitions

[News S=Reporter Eom In-yong] The Jingeon-Taegyewon Administrative Welfare Center in Namyangju (Director Kim Hak-chul) delivered ‘Nutrient-Rich Wellness Care Packages’ to 40 vulnerable households in Jingeon-eup on the 10th, in collaboration with the Jingeon-eup Community Welfare Council (Chair Park Hyun-jung).

The ‘Nutrient-Rich Wellness Support Project for Vulnerable Groups’ is a signature customized welfare program of the Jingeon-eup Community Welfare Council, implemented to provide nutritious meals to vulnerable households, check on their well-being, and identify welfare blind spots.

The council delivers high-protein nutritious meals and healthy snacks to vulnerable households on a quarterly basis, providing both health management and emotional support.

The care packages delivered on this day consisted of high-protein galbi-tang (short rib soup) and bread, designed to help vulnerable groups easily supplement their nutrition during seasonal transitions.

Members of the Jingeon-eup Community Welfare Council personally visited each household to deliver the packages, checked on their well-being, and identified welfare needs.

In particular, the galbi-tang provided on this day was made possible through full sponsorship by Charcoal-Grilled Galbi & Eel (representative Moon Sang-hee), a local restaurant in the area.

The establishment has consistently engaged in sharing activities for those in need in the community, including sponsoring holiday care packages and supporting meals for the elderly, taking the lead in creating a warm local community.

Chair Park Hyun-jung said, "Although it is a small gesture of sharing, it is meaningful to convey health and warmth to those in difficult circumstances," adding, "We will do our best going forward to eliminate welfare blind spots and expand a culture of sharing."
