[News S=Reporter Lee Min-jeong] The Haenggung-dong Living Right Movement Committee in Paldal-gu, Suwon (Committee Chair Hwang Hyun-no) held its '2026 Regular General Meeting' on the 26th at the Haenggung-dong Administrative Welfare Center, pledging new progress and unity for the local community.

The general meeting was attended by Committee Chair Hwang Hyun-no of Haenggung-dong, Kim Young-seon, chairman of the Gyeonggi Province Living Right Movement Council, Yoo Jae-myung, chairman of the Suwon City Council, Kim Chung-young, former head of Paldal-gu Office, Park Young-soon, chairman of the Haenggung-dong Residents' Autonomy Committee, Choi Young-hee, head of Haenggung-dong, and approximately 30 other guests and committee members.

The event proceeded in the following order: △appointment certificates for new committee members △opening remarks and congratulatory addresses △progress reports on implemented projects △2025 financial audit report and election of new auditors. In particular, the appointment of three new committee members added vitality to the organization, and a new auditor was elected to ensure transparent operations.

Meanwhile, the Haenggung-dong Living Right Movement Committee has been playing a central role in fostering community awareness and building a righteous society through various volunteer activities, including campaigns to uphold basic rule of law, environmental cleanup activities, and sharing prepared side dishes to help neighbors.

Committee Chair Hwang Hyun-no said in his opening remarks, "I extend deep gratitude to all committee members for their dedication to the local community over the past year," and added, "This year as well, based on the three principles of the Living Right Movement—truth, order, and harmony—we will take the lead to make Haenggung-dong an even better neighborhood."
