Gyeuri City Gyomun 1-dong Conducts Home Environment Improvement Volunteer Service with Mungmin Volunteer Association

[News S=Reporter Eom In-yong] The Administrative Welfare Center of Gyomun 1-dong, Gyeuri City (Director Lee Jin-soo) conducted home environment improvement volunteer activities on the 25th with the Mungmin Volunteer Association (Chair Yoon Jae-geun) targeting low-income elderly households.

The volunteer activity was organized to support elderly households experiencing inconvenience in their daily lives due to deteriorated flooring and wallpaper stained with mold.

Members of the Mungmin Volunteer Association directly replaced flooring and wallpaper and installed window screens to help create a comfortable living environment.

In particular, the Mungmin Volunteer Association has continuously cooperated with Gyomun 1-dong, steadily carrying out various volunteer activities including home repairs and living support for vulnerable populations, practicing warm sharing in the local community.

Yoon Jae-geun, Mungmin Volunteer Association Chair, stated, "Though it is a small gesture, we hope that the elderly can live in a safer and more comfortable environment," and added, "We will continue to carry out volunteer activities for neighbors in need in the community."
