Election Victory Statement Shin Gae-yong Elected Mayor of Gwacheon

Dear citizens of Gwacheon!

I am Shin Gae-yong, the elected mayor of Gwacheon in the 9th local elections.

I express my sincere gratitude to all the citizens of Gwacheon who united to give me the opportunity to work for Gwacheon.

I pledge to fulfill the citizens' aspiration to complete Gwacheon's identity and character.

The People Power Party has recently fallen short of the public's expectations, and I approached this election with a heavy sense of responsibility and deep reflection on that disappointment.

Therefore, this election held particularly significant responsibility and mission for me.

Nevertheless, the citizens of Gwacheon expected strong responses to the various problems and major issues facing Gwacheon, and united behind me, Shin Gae-yong, to make that happen.

I will use the strength the citizens have given me as the driving force for municipal administration, working to complete Gwacheon's identity and prepare for the next generation.

I will proactively identify and respond to all factors hindering Gwacheon's development and stability, including the relocation of the horse racing park and changes to the Shincheonji building's use, data center issues, and educational structure problems that threaten the community.

I will do my utmost to keep the promises I made to citizens as a way of repaying their support and trust.

Once again, I sincerely thank all the citizens of Gwacheon.

I also extend my gratitude to all the candidates and campaign workers who participated in this local election.
