Dasan 1-dong Community Welfare Council of Namyangju City Presents 2.3 Million Won in Donations

[News S=Eom In-yong] The Dasan 1-dong Community Welfare Council of Namyangju City (Chairwoman Jung Sun-ok) presented 2.3 million won in donations to the Dasan Administrative Welfare Center (Director Lee Gi-bok) on the 5th to support neighbors in need within the community.

This donation was made possible by the members of the 5th term Dasan 1-dong Community Welfare Council pooling their membership fees collected during their tenure to give back to the community.

The donated funds have been designated for the Dasan 1-dong Community Welfare Council through the Northern Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea and are scheduled to be used in support programs for vulnerable populations in the area.

Chairwoman Jung Sun-ok stated, "It is meaningful to continue the hearts of our members through sharing, as we have worked together to create a warm community where neighbors care for neighbors," and added, "I sincerely thank all the members of the 5th term who have been with us."

Lee Gi-bok, Director of the Dasan Administrative Welfare Center, said, "I deeply appreciate the council members for practicing volunteer work and sharing for the community," and conveyed, "I expect the warm hearts of the members to be well conveyed to neighbors in need and serve as great strength in building a welfare community where we live together."
