Namyangju City Jinjeo-eup Civil Defense Council Hosts Luncheon for Veterans of Honor During Patriotic Month

[News S=Reporter Um In-yong] The Namyangju City Jinjeo-eup Civil Defense Council (Chairman Jo Hyo-sik) held a luncheon on the 24th at the Deuleum Spring Wedding Hall in Jinjeo-eup, inviting approximately 150 people including war veterans and related officials to commemorate Patriotic Month.

The event was attended by Korean War and Vietnam War veterans and related officials, who shared a luncheon and engaged in conversation, creating a time of communication and solidarity.

Veterans shared their experiences of dedication to the nation and encouraged one another, concluding the event with commemorative photos.

Civil Defense Council Chairman Jo Hyo-sik said, "It is meaningful to express our gratitude and respect to the war veterans who sacrificed for our nation," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to work to spread a culture in our community that remembers and honors the value of patriotic service."
