Book Concert Held at Former Sohwa Elementary School, National Registered Cultural Heritage, on the 29th

The 'Be Courageous' book concert, hosted by the Catholic Diocese of Suwon Maintenance Foundation, will be held at Buksudong Cathedral, where the former Sohwa Elementary School building is located.

This book concert is one of the 'Living National Heritage Project,' a National Heritage Service-sponsored initiative, held with support from the National Heritage Service and Suwon City. The event aims to allow citizens to experience Suwon's modern cultural heritage by utilizing the National Registered Cultural Heritage 'Former Sohwa Elementary School.'

The first book concert held on the 22nd featured author Kim Tak-hwan, known for 'Love and Revolution 1·2·3.' Following traditional Korean music and classical cultural performances, the program included an author lecture, book talk, and a question-and-answer session.

On the 29th at 4 p.m., author Gong Ji-young, known for 'I Will Support You No Matter What Life You Live 2,' will participate. The event will proceed in the same order as the first book concert, followed by an author book signing session and individual photo opportunities after the event concludes.

A Suwon City official stated, "We hope citizens will take interest in Suwon's modern cultural heritage, including the 'Former Sohwa Elementary School,' and come to understand its value. We will continue to create opportunities for citizens to enjoy cultural heritage in various ways."
