Suwon Municipal Choir's Lawn Concert 'A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along' Held on August 28 at Suwon Outdoor Music Theater [Art S]

The Suwon Municipal Choir announced that it will hold '2026 Lawn Concert-A Midsummer Night's Sing-Along,' a performance with citizens, on August 28 at Suwon Outdoor Music Theater in Gyeonggi Province.

This year's concert will feature amateur citizen choir 'We Singers' joining the stage to perform with the audience in a sing-along format. The 'sing-along,' which breaks down the boundary between stage and audience, is the core of the program, with all audience members singing along together.

The concert, conducted by artistic director Kim Bo-mi, opens with an overture featuring Project Pops Orchestra and a contemporary dance team. A gala show presenting musical numbers and pop classics will follow.

The recommended dress code is white tops. Citizens dressed in white are expected to create a spectacular scene with the lawn turning the color of a summer night sky. Singer Lee Juck will make a special appearance, performing songs including 'Thank Goodness' and 'As You Say.'

Beginning in 2003, the Lawn Concert is marking its 24th year this year and is held on the last Friday of August each year as a signature planned performance by the Suwon Municipal Choir. Admission is free and no advance reservation is required.
