Villa Dream Management Office Expands to 30 Locations Citywide in Suwon
On the 3rd, Suwon Special City Mayor Lee Jae-jun visited the "Villa Dream Management Office" in Tapdong, Gwonseon-gu, saying, "I will expand the Villa Dream Management Office throughout Suwon so that citizens can feel that 'our neighborhood has become a better place to live.'"
Mayor Lee visited the first Villa Dream Management Office location (Tapdong 746-1, which began operations in August of last year) to inspect the project's results and meet with local residents to hear their feedback.
Mayor Lee stated, "The Villa Dream Management Office is a life-oriented administrative service that looks at citizens' lives more closely and comprehensively. By carefully examining conditions and needs by region, we will expand the Villa Dream Management Office to 30 locations throughout Suwon in the long term to reduce blind spots in management," he announced.
The Villa Dream Management Office is a project that deploys "Dream Office Directors" hired by Suwon City to areas with dense small multifamily housing where there are no managing entities and residents face inconvenience, providing support for cleaning, safety patrols, and maintenance of common facilities. It serves as a "joint villa management office" role and creates a comfortable and safe residential environment.
A pilot project began in Tapdong in August 2025, and in June of this year, three additional areas were added—Songjuk and Pajang-dong in Jangan-gu, Jowon 1-dong in Jangan-gu, and Homaesil and Geumgok-dong in Gwonseon-gu—and is currently operating in a total of four areas. During the pilot project operation period, a resident satisfaction survey showed a score of 91.7, indicating high resident satisfaction.
Suwon City plans to survey the entire Suwon area to select regions requiring management and will expand the Villa Dream Management Office to up to 30 locations in the future.
