Yongin Special City Mayor Lee Sang-il held a tea meeting on the 3rd with retired school principals from local schools to discuss cooperation measures for fostering future talent and improving the educational environment.

At the tea meeting held in the city hall reception room, the mayor met with six school principals who retired on August 31st of this year, listened to their reflections from their experience in the field of education, and exchanged views on providing a better environment for students.

Mayor Lee Sang-il stated, "I express my gratitude for the dedication of the school principals who actively resolved issues arising in school settings and worked to help students realize their dreams. I expect that successor principals will also learn from their senior colleagues and make active efforts to foster talent for the Republic of Korea and Yongin."

Prior to the tea meeting, Mayor Lee Sang-il presented letters of appreciation to the six retired school principals in attendance, acknowledging their contributions to creating an environment where schools and the community grow together based on close cooperation and communication with Yongin Special City.

The city plans to present letters of appreciation separately to four retired school principals who were unable to attend the tea meeting due to personal circumstances.
