The Gyeonggi Province Food Plaza announced on the 20th that it is recruiting participants for the Four Seasons Kitchen program 'Delicious Halloween Kitchen' in October for families and residents.

The 'Four Seasons Kitchen' refers to an experiential food culture and cooking education program that teaches seasonal flavors and food culture using in-season ingredients. This program utilizes in-season ingredients such as kabocha squash and purple sweet potatoes, allowing parents and children to form a team and cook together to experience the taste and value of seasonal foods. In particular, by incorporating the cheerful and mysterious atmosphere of the globally beloved 'Halloween' festival, the program is designed so that children can naturally and familiarly approach domestic agricultural products.

Participating families will personally prepare 'Halloween Kabocha Squash Pizza' and 'Tteok Lollipops' using autumn in-season ingredients as the main materials. Through the process of directly touching and cooking colorful ingredients, children are expected to increase their curiosity and familiarity with healthy eating habits, and parents and children will create unforgettable memories together.

The program will run over two sessions on October 14th, divided into morning (10:00~12:00) and afternoon (14:00~16:00). One child aged 6 or older and one guardian can participate as a 2-person team, with 20 participants (10 teams) per session for a total of 40 people. The participation fee is 5,000 won per person.

Participation applications can be made through Naver Form from 10 a.m. on the 21st to 6 p.m. on the 27th, and more details are available on the Gyeonggi Province Agricultural and Fisheries Promotion Agency website (www.gafi.or.kr).

Participants will be selected fairly through random draw, and the final results will be posted on the Gyeonggi Province Agricultural and Fisheries Promotion Agency website at 3 p.m. on the 29th, along with individual notifications.

Lee Moon-moo, director of the Agricultural Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "We have carefully prepared the October Four Seasons Kitchen so it can provide residents with unforgettable memories and the value of healthy eating habits in their homes, and we ask for your active participation."
