The Gyeonggi Province Office of Education (Superintendent An Min-seok) held the 'Gyeonggi School Arts Studio RAS Student Creative Showcase "Real Arts Story"' on the 19th, where students shared the process and fruits of their growth in self-discovery and artistic expression.

This showcase brought together approximately 500 people including 172 students participating in the 'Masterclass,' a professional arts education program of the Gyeonggi School Arts Studio, as well as parents, teachers, and local residents. Students directly planned and prepared diverse programs including exhibitions, performances, student-led docent tours, and art experiences under the theme of 'SHOW ME THE REAL ME, Show Me the Me Inside Me,' freely expressing their thoughts and sensibilities through their own artistic language.

In particular, rather than simply showcasing completed works, the event created a 'space for growth and communication' where students became the protagonists of creation, discovering their own stories and sharing them with others through their works and performances.

In the visual arts field, over 130 student works spanning diverse genres were presented, including media art, webtoons, flat and three-dimensional sculpture, fiber art, sculptural and architectural projects, ceramics, and digital drawing.

Students themselves took on the role of docents, sharing the ideas behind their works, the creation process, and their expressive intentions with visitors. Students introduced their own works directly, reflecting on their creative process, while parents and staff witnessed the students' deliberation and growth that led to the completion of their works.

Additionally, five experiential programs including flat sculpture and fiber art, as well as stop motion, media art, and sound art were offered to allow visitors to experience art firsthand. Beyond 'viewing art' through appreciating works, the scope of participation was expanded to 'experiencing art' through direct creation and expression.

The performance stage was also led by students. A diverse range of performances showcasing student creativity and individuality followed, including △'Victory Korea,' where dance and percussion were harmonized △'Show Me The Real Me,' a musical created based on lyrics written by students △'Treatment,' a K-pop dance combining AI-generated music and choreography △'We are the Band,' a band performance reinterpreting original compositions and domestic and international popular music.

Superintendent An Min-seok said, "It is important for not only children but also adults to cultivate reading, arts, and sports (RAS) in their daily lives," adding "I am delighted to be part of this meaningful occasion where students share the fruits of their learning, preparation, and growth."

The Gyeonggi Province Office of Education plans to continue expanding RAS education by linking the professional arts education of the Gyeonggi School Arts Studio with diverse arts education in schools and communities, broadening students' arts experience and allowing arts to naturally permeate students' daily lives and learning.
