Paldal-gu District Community Welfare Council Expands Sharing Culture Through 'Mobile Donation Kiosk'

Paldal-gu District, Suwon (District Chief Hwang Gyu-don) held a 'mobile donation kiosk' donation event on the 21st in the lobby on the first floor of the Paldal-gu District Office, launching a donation relay with citizens to expand sharing culture in everyday life.

The mobile donation kiosk is a non-face-to-face donation method using credit cards. Citizens can select their desired donation amount on the kiosk screen and then tag their card to donate conveniently. Small donations starting from 1,000 won are available, and after donating, citizens can request a donation receipt through a mobile donation certificate sent via text message.

Starting with this event, the mobile donation kiosk will operate in the lobby on the first floor of the Paldal-gu District Office until September 30th. From October 1st to 11th, it will be relocated to the lobby on the first floor of the Suwon Hwaseong Museum. Accessibility has been enhanced so that citizens, including district office visitors and museum visitors, can naturally participate in donations in their daily lives.

Kwon Nam-ho, private committee chair of the Paldal-gu District Community Welfare Council, said, "Small donations that anyone can participate in without burden can create warm changes in the local community," adding, "I hope this mobile donation kiosk operation will serve as an opportunity for residents to actively engage in voluntary sharing."

Hwang Gyu-don, District Chief of Paldal-gu, stated, "Donation is more about the willingness to participate together than the amount," and expressed his hope that "this mobile donation kiosk will be an opportunity for citizens to practice sharing without burden in their daily lives, and that small acts of sharing will spread throughout the district."
