Osan City Operates Mobile Mayor's Office with Childcare Center Parents
Osan City (Mayor Jo Yong-ho) operated a 'mobile mayor's office visit' on the 22nd at the Osan i-Dream Center with 18 childcare center parents in attendance.
This session was organized to directly listen to the difficulties experienced by parents using childcare centers during childcare and parenting, and to share opinions on necessary support. Mayor Jo Yong-ho sat face-to-face with parents and discussed matters related to childcare center usage, child-rearing, and educational environment.
Parents freely shared the inconveniences they felt while raising their children and their hopes for the future. Mayor Jo also exchanged opinions with parents regarding their suggestions. The city plans to share the opinions raised that day with related departments and determine the direction of action based on review results.
Previously, Osan City visited all eight districts to hear residents' opinions on inconveniences in daily life and local issues. The city plans to continue dialogue by meeting with diverse citizens including teenagers and young adults.
Mayor Jo Yong-ho of Osan City said, "It was an opportunity to directly hear the voices of parents raising children," and added, "We will carefully review the opinions given today with relevant departments and reflect necessary matters in city administration."
