Osan City Offers 10,000 Won Benefit to 1,000 Residents Under "Small Business Open(10) Up! 10,000 Pay!" Program
Osan City (Mayor Cho Yong-ho) will hold the "Small Business Open(10) Up! 10,000 Pay!" event for Osaegseon users over three days from October 2 to 4 in conjunction with the "2026 LOSO Festival & Osan Small Business Coexistence Festival."
During the event period, users who accumulate 100,000 won or more in payments using Osaegseon will receive 10,000 won. Users do not need to spend 100,000 won in a single transaction; the total amount spent over the four days can be combined to meet the requirement.
Benefits will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to 1,000 people with 10,000 won per person until the budget is exhausted. No separate application is required, and payment details can be confirmed through the local currency app. The disbursed amount will be prioritized for use in the next Osaegseon payment.
In addition to payments made at Osaegseon member stores, amounts spent at booths set up at the festival venue are also included in the event criteria. The city organized this event to increase Osaegseon usage among citizens visiting the festival and to extend consumer spending that begins at the festival venue to local shops.
Osan City Mayor Cho Yong-ho said, "I hope citizens enjoying the festival will receive Osaegseon benefits and also visit local small business shops," adding "I hope this event will be helpful to both citizens and small business owners."
