Hwaseong Jeongjo Filial Piety Elderly Welfare Center (Director Tan-ha) conducted a 'Filial Culture Promotion Project, Chuseok Holiday Support Program' for vulnerable elderly residents in the local community for two days beginning on the 21st in celebration of Chuseok.

This event was prepared through the 'Gyeonggi Vivaldi Sharing Project - Chuseok Holiday Support Project' organized jointly by the 'Gyeonggi Province Elderly Comprehensive Welfare Center Association' and the 'Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.'

Notably, volunteers from the local community directly participated in this event. On the first day, volunteers gathered together to personally prepare rice dough and make songpyeon rice cakes, and the next day they carefully prepared mung bean pancakes, omija skewers, and frozen pollock pancakes by making them fresh.

The prepared songpyeon, pancakes, and other holiday food bundles consisting of jeonbyeong and seolleongtang were delivered to 100 vulnerable elderly residents in the area, creating a time to share the warmth of the Chuseok holiday.
