Suwon City Launches AI Advisory Service from Small Business Support to Commercial District Analysis
Suwon Metropolitan City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) is introducing an artificial intelligence (AI) search function on 'Suwon Sijang Hub,' a small business information website operated by the Suwon Urban Development Foundation's Commercial District Vitalization Center, and will formally launch a 'specialized AI integrated guidance service for small businesses' from October onwards.
Suwon Sijang Hub (swsijanghub.kr) is a website where users can check small business support projects, education, consulting, and commercial district information scattered across multiple institutions and channels in one place. Following a trial operation in September, the service will be launched in full from October.
The AI search service works by allowing users to input their inquiries in everyday language without needing to know complex business names or exact search terms, and then finding related information.
Users can search by asking questions such as what support projects their shops are eligible for or what small business education programs are available.
Key information provided includes ▲small business support projects ▲small business education ▲consulting information ▲designation and support benefits for alleyway shopping districts ▲Suwon commercial district status ▲Suwon commercial district map ▲commercial district analysis data by district and commercial district, and others. Information is also linked to support projects from public institutions such as Small Business 24 and Gyeonggi Right, as well as small business support information from Suwon City and related organizations.
In the Suwon commercial district status section, users can check the number of stores, sales, foot traffic, and opening and closing trends, while the Suwon commercial district map allows users to view information on traditional markets, alleyway shopping districts, alley commercial areas, and specialized commercial districts.
The service can be used without membership registration or separate posts, and operates on an information provision method that does not require personal information input. It is also accessible via smartphones, allowing users to check necessary information anytime and anywhere.
A Suwon City official stated, "There are cases where useful information about support projects and education is not utilized because people do not know where to find it," and added, "Through Suwon Sijang Hub, we will provide scattered information tailored to the perspective of small business owners and support them in quickly finding the information they need."
