Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science & Technology Promotion Agency (hereinafter GESTA) will hold the '2026 Gyeonggi Startup Summit (G-SUMMIT 2026)' at the Suwon Convention Center for two days from October 14 to 15.

The Gyeonggi Startup Summit is a global startup business platform that began in 2024 and has been serving as a practical link between innovative startups, domestic and international investors, and large and mid-sized enterprises.

This year, approximately 160 domestic and international investors will participate in 480 one-on-one investment consultation sessions (meetups), and open innovation strategies will be operated with large and mid-sized enterprises to provide startups with investment attraction and business collaboration opportunities.

In the exhibition hall, 156 startups will showcase technologies and products in various fields including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, robotics, biotechnology, and climate tech. Company presentation (IR) programs and competitions supporting startups in attracting investments and expanding their businesses will continue throughout the venue. Opportunities for startups to attract investments will be provided through the G-Star Audition finals, the pet startup contest finals, and the Pangyo investment exchange company presentation sessions.

Kim Nok-won, CEO of physical AI semiconductor company DEEPX based in Gyeonggi Province, Professor Jeong Jae-seung from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), who has continued research in brain engineering, and Reza Khaj, Investment Director at PlugPlay, the world's largest startup accelerator, will participate as key speakers. Conferences with domestic and international experts will also be held on topics including technological innovation, startup growth, investment, and global market expansion.

Through stamp tour on-site events, free drinks made by robot baristas at the unmanned robot cafe will be provided to add fun to the exhibition viewing and experience. Along with job recruitment lectures for attendees interested in startup recruitment, a recruitment lounge will also be operated where consultations can be held.

Ryu Soon-yeol, Director of the Venture Startup Division at Gyeonggi Province, said, "High interest from startups, investors, and companies continues as 180 investment and collaboration consultations were held in the pre-investment linking program," and added, "We expect this year's Gyeonggi Startup Summit to become a meaningful venue where innovative startups, investors, and large and mid-sized enterprises can create opportunities for substantive investment and cooperation in one place."

Pre-registration for the 'Gyeonggi Startup Summit 2026' is available on the official website (g-startupsummit.or.kr) until October 13, and detailed programs can also be found there.
