Suwon Youth Station-Area Half-Price Officetel 'Saebit Youth Zone'... "Recruitment of Residents Begins"
[News S = Reporter Jung Jun-sung] Gyeonggi Province's Suwon City announced that it is recruiting residents for 'Saebit Youth Zone' Unit 4, a customized station-area officetel for young people, through the 28th of this month.
Unit 4 is located 50 meters from Suwon City Hall Station and will provide a total of 141 units. The city is also recruiting reserve residents for 10 vacant units in Unit 1 in Gwonseon-dong whose contracts have ended.
Eligible recipients can move in with a deposit of 1 million won at approximately 40% of market rates, while general youth can move in with a deposit of 2 million won at approximately 50% of market rates. After an initial two-year contract, residents can renew their lease in two-year increments up to four times, allowing them to live for up to 10 years maximum.
Applicants must be unmarried youth aged 19-39 residing in Suwon City. The age criterion, which was previously 34, has been relaxed starting with this recruitment. Applicants must also meet asset criteria including a monthly average income of 4,576,063 won or less.
Saebit Youth Zone is a youth housing support project pursued through an agreement between Suwon City and Korea Land and Housing Corporation signed in 2022, with one new location being created each year. Applications can be made through Saebit Talk Talk, and winners will be announced on November 20.
