Namyangju's Jingeon-Tegye Administrative Welfare Center Holds 'Sseudam Day' with Local Community Organizations

[News S=Reporter Eom In-yong] The Jingeon-Tegye Administrative Welfare Center in Namyangju (Center Director Kim Hak-chul) held the ‘Jingeon-eup Sseudam Day’ environmental cleanup activity on the 26th with local community organizations along roadsides, alleyways, and the Saneung Stream area in Jingeon-eup.

‘Sseudam Day’ is an everyday environmental cleanup campaign conducted through plogging—picking up trash while walking. The activity aims to create a clean urban environment and raise public awareness about environmental protection through citizen-participatory cleanup efforts.

Approximately 150 people participated in the event, including members of active community organizations in Jingeon-eup and staff from the Jingeon-Tegye Administrative Welfare Center.

Center Director Kim Hak-chul said, “I am grateful to the community organization members who participated in environmental cleanup activities for the local community,” and added, “We will continue to promote Sseudam Day activities together to build a clean and pleasant Jingeon-eup.”
