Kim Seong-su Elected as Chair of Education and Administration Committee for First Half of 12th Gyeonggi Province Council
[News S=Reporter Kim Gab-dong] Kim Seong-su, a member of the Gyeonggi Province Council (Democratic Party, Anyang District 1), was elected as the Chair of the Education and Administration Committee for the first half of the 12th Gyeonggi Province Council at the 3rd plenary session of the 392nd temporary session held on the 16th.
Newly appointed Chair Kim Seong-su previously served as a member of the 6th and 7th Anyang City Council and has served as a three-term member of the 10th, 11th, and 12th Gyeonggi Province Council, contributing to provincial development through diverse activities in various fields including agriculture, marine affairs, women and family affairs, lifelong education, culture, sports, tourism, and construction and transportation committees.
In particular, he served as the election management committee chair for the elections of the representative member, council speaker, and vice speaker of the Democratic Party, which will lead the first half of the 12th Gyeonggi Province Council, taking the lead in transparent election management.

The Education and Administration Committee for the first half of the 12th term consists of 15 members including Chair Kim Seong-su (Democratic Party, Anyang District 1), Vice Chair Eom Gyo-seop (Democratic Party, Yongin District 11), Vice Chair Kim Hyun-seok (People Power Party, Gwacheon), Member Kim Young-hoon (Democratic Party, Hwaseong District 3), Member Son Seong-ik (Democratic Party, Paju District 3), Member Shim Sang-rok (Democratic Party, Gwangmyeong District 1), Member Oh Ji-hoon (Democratic Party, Hanam District 3), Member Lee Geon-hee (Democratic Party, Namyangju District 1), Member Lee Yun-seung (Democratic Party, Goyang District 12), Member Lee Ju-hyeon (Democratic Party, Anseong District 1), Member Jang Kyung-im (Democratic Party, Proportional Representation), Member Jeong Seok-won (Democratic Party, Yangju District 2), Member Choi Myung-jin (Democratic Party, Gimpo District 1), Member Choi Mi-geum (People Power Party, Proportional Representation), and Member Choi Chan-min (Democratic Party, Suwon District 6).
