Uiwang City Selects 36 Scholarship Recipients to Foster Outstanding Talent

The Uiwang City Talent Development Foundation (Chairman Kim Sung-je) is recruiting "second-half 2026 scholarship students" to foster regional talent.

The Uiwang City Talent Development Foundation is implementing various scholarship programs to enable students to concentrate on their studies and develop their dreams and capabilities. Through this scholarship recruitment, the foundation plans to discover outstanding regional talent and support students' stable academic pursuits.

The scholarship recipients this round comprise a total of 36 students: △20 university-level Hope Dream scholarship students △15 high school academic excellence scholarship students △1 high school special talent scholarship student.

The selected scholarship recipients will receive a total of 56 million won in scholarships, with university-level Hope Dream scholarship students receiving 2 million won per person and high school scholarship students receiving 1 million won per person.

The scholarship application period runs from August 24 to September 4. Students wishing to apply should check the foundation's website notice board for scholarship eligibility and required submission documents, then submit their application forms and supporting documents via email or mail.

Uiwang Mayor Kim Sung-je stated, "I hope this scholarship will open new opportunities for students and serve as a catalyst for them to grow to the next level," adding, "Going forward, we will continue to operate scholarship programs in a substantive manner for students who will lead the future of our region."
