Osan City Holds 2026 Tourism Souvenir Design Contest… Applications Accepted September 8-18

Osan City (Mayor Cho Yong-ho) announced on the 24th that it will hold the "2026 Osan City Tourism Souvenir Design Contest" to discover excellent tourism souvenirs that embody Osan's history and cultural characteristics and widely promote the region's value.

The contest is open to all Korean citizens, and targets finished products priced at 20,000 won or less that utilize Osan's culture, nature, tourist attractions, festivals, and the city character "Kka-san-i." Any tourism souvenir with commercial viability and practical utility can be submitted.

Entries will be evaluated comprehensively based on preference surveys from visitors to Osan's cultural and tourism facilities, as well as thematic value, commercial viability, practicality, sustainability, and expandability, with a total of 9 works selected. Prize winners will consist of 1 grand prize, 2 gold prizes, 2 silver prizes, and 4 encouragement prizes, with total prize money of 10 million won.

Applicants can register from September 8 to 18 by submitting an application form and their work in person to the Culture and Arts Division of Osan City Hall.

Winning works will be sold through Osan City tourism souvenir shops and promoted through the city's official social media and tourism events. Detailed information about the contest can be found on the Osan City Hall website.
