Suwon Agricultural & Fisheries Products Wholesale Market Fishery Division Holds Omni-currency Gift Certificate Refund Event Sept. 16-20

The Fishery Division of Suwon Agricultural & Fisheries Products Wholesale Market will hold an Omni-currency Gift Certificate Refund Event from September 16 to 20 ahead of the Chuseok holiday break.

During the event period, customers who purchase domestic seafood at participating stores in the Fishery Division can receive refunds of up to 20,000 won in Omni-currency Gift Certificates.

The 'Chuseok Omni-currency Gift Certificate Refund Event' organized by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries provides Omni-currency Gift Certificate refunds of up to 30% of the purchase amount for domestic seafood. The maximum refund amount per person is 20,000 won. Customers can receive 10,000 won in Omni-currency Gift Certificates for purchases of 34,000 won or more, and 20,000 won for purchases of 67,000 won or more.

Out of 54 stores in the Fishery Division, 41 stores are participating in the event. Products handled include frozen seafood, fresh fish, shellfish, live fish, and dried seafood. Information about participating stores can be found on the Suwon City Agricultural Technology Center website (www.suwon.go.kr/web/agr/index.do) in the notice board.

During the event period, customers can bring receipts from purchases made between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to the refund event booth, verify their identity, and receive Omni-currency Gift Certificate refunds.

A Suwon City official stated, "We are conducting the Omni-currency Gift Certificate refund event to revitalize domestic seafood consumption and reduce the financial burden on consumers," and added, "We hope many citizens will visit the Suwon Agricultural & Fisheries Products Wholesale Market during the refund event period."
