Gyeonggi Province Council for the Visually Impaired Delivers Chuseok Gifts to 22 Visually Impaired Families
The Gyeonggi Province Council for the Visually Impaired (Director Yang Sun-bun) announced on the 9th that it delivered holiday food to 22 households of visually impaired families in Gyeonggi Province, including single-person and multi-child households, through the '2026 Gyeonggi Vivaldi Four Seasons Love Sharing – Abundant Love Sharing' program to mark the Chuseok holiday.
The food delivered this time consisted of three packs of galbi-jjim (braised short ribs) and three packs of seasoned bulgogi, prepared to alleviate the economic burden on food expenses ahead of the Chuseok holiday and to support visually impaired families in spending a warm and abundant holiday.
In addition, along with delivering goods, the council checked on the well-being and living conditions of the target households and provided basic counseling, creating an opportunity to identify necessary support for each household.
An official from the Gyeonggi Province Council for the Visually Impaired stated, "We hope that visually impaired families will have a warm and abundant Chuseok holiday," and added, "We plan to continue realizing the value of sharing with the community and to persistently carry out various support initiatives for the living stability and welfare improvement of the visually impaired."
