Byeongjeom 1-dong, Hwaseong Special City Presents Appreciation Plaques to 6 Sharing Shops

Byeongjeom 1-dong, Byeongjeom-gu, Hwaseong Special City visited 6 sharing shops in the area on the 24th along with the Community Social Security Council to present appreciation plaques and provide meal sharing for low-income elderly residents.

This event was organized to express gratitude to the sharing shops that have consistently sponsored food and meals for underprivileged neighbors, enhance the pride of participating shops, and promote a culture of sharing throughout the community.

Byeongjeom 1-dong Chief and members of the Community Social Security Council visited each sharing shop in person to present plaques and encourage shop owners who have continued warm sharing for disadvantaged neighbors in the area.

The six sharing shops receiving plaques are △Tous les Jours △Nonggwa △Compose Coffee △Jjamppong Gak △Parut Ha Day △Michin Samgyeopsal Mi-u-ne. These shops regularly donate food such as bread, meals, beverages, and meal coupons to provide warmth to those in need. Nonggwa and Compose Coffee operate at the same location and installed a joint plaque.

In connection with Nonggwa's regular meal support program, galbi-tang and beverages were provided to 30 low-income elderly residents. Byeongjeom 1-dong and Community Social Security Council members checked on the health conditions of the elderly and confirmed their wellbeing, adding deeper meaning to community care.

Byeongjeom 1-dong Chief Jung Tae-sang stated, "I express my gratitude to the shop owners who have consistently shared warm hearts for those in need," and added, "I hope this plaque will serve as an opportunity to promote the value of long-standing sharing while inspiring new participation in sharing efforts throughout the community."
