Hwaseong Special City Byeongjeom 1-dong Presents Plaques of Gratitude to 6 Sharing Shops

On the 24th, Byeongjeom 1-dong in Byeongjeom-gu, Hwaseong Special City, visited six sharing shops in the area together with the local community welfare council, presenting plaques of gratitude and sharing meals for low-income seniors.

This event was organized to express gratitude to sharing shops that have consistently sponsored food and meals for neighbors in need, enhance the pride of participating establishments, and spread a culture of sharing throughout the community.

The head of Byeongjeom 1-dong and members of the local community welfare council visited each sharing shop in person to present the plaques and encouraged the shop representatives who have continued to share warmth with struggling neighbors in the community.

The six sharing shops that received plaques are △Tous les Jours △Nongga △Compose Coffee △Jjamppong Gak △Parut Ha Day △Michin Samgyeopsal Mi-u-ne. These shops regularly sponsor food such as bread, meals, beverages, and meal vouchers, extending warmth to neighbors in need. Nongga and Compose Coffee operate at the same location and installed a joint plaque.

Subsequently, in connection with Nongga's regular meal support program, galbi-tang and beverages were provided to 30 low-income seniors. The staff of Byeongjeom 1-dong and members of the local community welfare council checked on the seniors' health conditions and inquired about their wellbeing, adding deeper meaning to community care.

Jeong Tae-sang, head of Byeongjeom 1-dong, stated, "I am grateful to the shop representatives who have continuously shared warmth for neighbors in need," and added, "I hope this plaque will both communicate the value of long-standing sharing and serve as an opportunity to encourage new participation in sharing throughout our community."
