The fact that Daelim University's Hotel Culinary Arts Department has become the nation's most prestigious culinary program was made possible by Professor Jang Myung-ha of the university.

Professor Jang served as a Korean national culinary representative and has rich experience in world cooking competitions, including winning gold and silver medals at the '2021 Singapore Cooking Competition', and leading the national team at the '2012 German Culinary Olympics' and the '2014 Luxembourg Culinary World Cup'.

Having participated in both culinary olympiads and culinary world cups and swept medals, Professor Jang is renowned as the 'culinary master' with the most experience among Korean national culinary representatives.

Professor Jang Myung-ha stated, "I feel great satisfaction that my students participated in the 2024 World Food Trend Fair and the 2024 SME & Master Chef Cooking Skills Competition and achieved excellent results in each category," adding "I will make every effort to help my students become the greatest culinary masters by utilizing diverse ingredients in individual and group live cooking, exhibition competitions, food business startup exhibitions, rice cake, pastry and baking exhibitions, and Western 3-course live cooking competitions."
