Suwon Education Support Office Strengthens AI and Digital Competency Training for Administrative Directors
Suwon Education Support Office (Education Director Kim Hye-ri) held training on the 26th for approximately 100 school administrative directors in the region to strengthen the capabilities of school managers to respond to changes in the future education environment.
This training was conducted as part of the '2026 AI·Digital-Based Local Civil Servant Competency Strengthening' program, with the theme 'School Administrative Directors, Reading the Age of AI' which examined the development of AI technology and changes in the education environment.
The training focused on examining the impact of artificial intelligence on the nature of education and school operations, and explored how to seek the roles and direction of future school administration.
The lectures on that day covered ▲technology trends in the AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) era that surpasses human intelligence ▲the essential role of education changing beyond the knowledge-transfer-centered paradigm ▲practical changes in education and response strategies according to AI technology development.
Kim Hye-ri, Education Director of Suwon Education Support Office, said, "As I see AI technology advancing day by day, I realize that the roles and methods of not only school education but also administration must change," and added, "I hope this training will serve as an opportunity for school administrative directors to understand the future education environment and develop the competency to respond actively to changes."
